About kahakai2

The West Hawaii Complex Area has designated kahakai2 Elementary as an official science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) school for its advancements in science, technology, engineering and math.

The school has made investments in technology in the form of handheld computers, laptop computers and iPads are used daily in all grades.

Parent involvement has continued to grow, and the school has promoted exchange programs with schools from Japan and Canada.
